2023 RAM 2500

Recalls, Specs & Safety Report

Expert Verdict
âš ī¸Elevated Concerns

The 2023 RAM 2500 presents a reliable option with a notable focus on engineering quality, highlighted by its lack of complaints despite the presence of recalls. The issues mainly concern significant components like the powertrain and electrical systems, which may require attention early in ownership.

Key Factor:Multiple significant recalls

📋Why This Matters

In the competitive heavy-duty truck segment, the RAM brand has built a reputation for durable construction and effective engineering solutions. However, the presence of seven recalls primarily affecting critical systems like the powertrain and electrical components suggests potential vulnerabilities that buyers should be aware of. Although having no complaints is an impressive feat, the recalls indicate that problems could surface early in the ownership experience, particularly within the first 20,000 miles.
