Recalls, Specs & Safety Report

Expert Verdict
Good Reliability

The 2023 Maserati Levante demonstrates a commendable level of reliability despite having one recall concerning the back over prevention software. Ensuring that the rearview image displays correctly is crucial for passenger safety, especially for children in the back seat who may be less visible to drivers.

Key Factor:Software visibility concerns

📋Why This Matters

Safety features like rear visibility systems significantly impact the overall safety of vehicles, and any malfunction can pose serious risks. For families, including young children seated in back seats, having a fully functional back over prevention system is essential for avoiding accidents during reversing maneuvers. A single recall focused on this feature indicates that Maserati values compliance with safety standards, which is crucial for protecting vulnerable passengers. In addition, Maserati's commitment to addressing software issues through recalls highlights its proactive approach to vehicle safety. This reflects well on the brand's engineering reputation and emphasizes the importance of rigorous testing during manufacturing processes. A clean record aside from this isolated incident showcases Maserati’s general dedication to producing safe vehicles.
