2022 MASERATI Levante

Recalls, Specs & Safety Report

Expert Verdict
⚠️Elevated Concerns

The 2022 Maserati Levante shows some concerning reliability issues primarily linked to the fuel system and back-over prevention systems. With failure rates peaking at just 2000 miles, owners should keep a close eye on these components early in ownership.

Key Factor:Fuel system vulnerabilities

πŸ“‹Why This Matters

The Levante, being a luxury SUV from Maserati, is expected to uphold the brand's high engineering standards. However, the recalls for fuel system leaks and software failures in the rear visibility feature could pose significant safety risks. A leaking fuel line can lead to dangerous situations while driving, and compromised rear visibility can hinder safe maneuvering, especially in tight spaces or during parking. Given the stature of Maserati, these defects detract from an otherwise solid reputation in performance and luxury.

Summary

Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain 2021 Quattroporte, Ghibli, 2021-2022 Levante, and 2022 MC20 vehicles. The fuel line sensor housing may crack and leak fuel.
