There has been a recall on my vehicle since October 7, 2025. Toyota has just sent me notification via mail the week of December 20, 2025. I drive 4 children and two of them are in the middle row (which is what the recall is about) in car seats. I have called the dealership many times and they are not doing anything to assist me. According to the recall, it states to not sit or use a child restraint in the second-row seats while the vehicle is moving until the remedy is performed---- the remedy isn't even available yet and hasn't been since October. So am I just not supposed to drive my kids to school and daycare?

The manufacturer has issued a 'Do Not Occupy' warning for the second row of my 2025 Sienna (Recall 25V668). As this is a family minivan, the vehicle is now unsafe for its intended purpose. No remedy is available, and Toyota has provided no timeline for repair. I am seeking a buyback due to indefinite safety impairment.

My vehicle is subject to an active safety recall involving the second-row seat rail welds. According to the manufacturer’s official recall notice, the remedy is not yet available and there are current usage restrictions advising that no occupants should sit in the second-row seats and that no child restraints should be used in those seats until the repair is completed. This condition creates a safety risk because the second-row seating positions cannot be safely used, which limits passenger seating and prevents proper use of child safety seats. The manufacturer has confirmed that the recall remains in interim status and that no repair or alternative remedy is currently available. The issue has been confirmed by the manufacturer through an official safety recall. No warning lamps or messages appeared prior to this issue, as it was identified through the recall process rather than a vehicle malfunction during operation.

There is a recall from October 5 2025 regarding second row seats that are mounted on seat rails that may have been improperly welded. They recommend not to have anyone sit in that row or use child restraints. How is there no remedy at this time?? Who can have their passengers sit in the third row and avoid sitting at the second row. This is negligence from Toyota and should have a remedy right away. We bought this car in March 2025 and have been driving our two boys around for several months until being notified of this recall! How can you expect someone not to use the second row seats for months without an answer particularly a minivan.
