2022 LEXUS LX

Recalls, Specs & Safety Report

Expert Verdict
⚠️Elevated Concerns

The 2022 Lexus LX has notable safety recalls mainly affecting the engine, powertrain, and back-over prevention systems. Given the peak failure range of 0-20k miles, this suggests that early issues could arise shortly after purchase, which is a concern for new owners.

Key Factor:Multiple critical recalls

πŸ“‹Why This Matters

For a premium SUV like the 2022 Lexus LX, having four recalls is particularly alarming. Issues with the engine's internal components can potentially lead to complete engine failure and loss of power while driving, posing significant safety risks. Additionally, problems related to unexpected vehicle movement when in neutral could leave drivers stranded or cause accidents. These defects compromise the reliability and quality associated with Lexus vehicles, making buyers wary.
