Standard Safety Record
The 2023 Discovery Sport maintains a standard safety record for LAND ROVER, with 2 recalls documented.
2 recalls for this vehicle2.9 avg. recalls per vehicle (brand)
πWhy This Matters
These defects pose serious risks; malfunctioning seat belt pretensioners can lead to ineffective occupant restraint during crashes, significantly increasing injury chances. Additionally, the back over prevention software issue affects rear visibility, which is critical for avoiding accidents while reversing. For a premium brand like Land Rover, these recalls are notably troubling as they undermine the expected standards of safety and engineering excellence in this segment.
