2022 JEEP Wrangler

I'm Experiencing a KNOWN Jeep issue called the "DEATH WOBBLE". I only have 17800 miles on the vehicle and I'm 6 months out of warranty. when this vehicle gets into the death wobble mood it becomes totally uncontrollable and extremely unsafe to drive. the driver needs to slow down to under 40MPH or to a complete stop for it to stop. You can be driving at 65 MPH and the vehicle will go into convulsions, I feel it is SO dangerous I will not allow my wife to drive it.

I own a 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe with ongoing warranty-covered hybrid system defects, including a hybrid coolant valve failure that could cause the vehicle to shut down while driving, creating a serious safety risk. The vehicle is also subject to an active high-voltage battery fire-risk recall, further affecting safety and reliability. The vehicle has been in the shop since Wednesday and Jeep has not provided a loaner or direct rental vehicle, leaving my family without transportation. Due to the combination of safety risks and loss of use, I am requesting: •Immediate manufacturer action to repair the defects •Direct rental coverage while the vehicle is in the shop •Escalation of my formal buyback request for executive review I am submitting this complaint to ensure that these safety and warranty-related issues are addressed promptly.

A vehicle fire can result in increased risk of occupant injury and injury to persons outside the vehicle. Vehicle risk is reduced when the battery charge level is depleted. Accordingly, owners are advised to refrain from recharging. Out of an abundance of caution, FCA US is also advising owners of these vehicles to park away from structures or other vehicles until the remedy is obtained.

NHTSA Recall Number25V-741 URGENT: FIRE RISK WHEN PARKED An urgent safety recall has been issued for this vehicle and the manufacturer has recommended that you follow their instructions on how and where to park this vehicle. The information I have received from Jeep is that they currently dot have the parts or dont have a solution for this issue and I will be contacted in the future. How is the a solution that is satisfactory to NHTSA. New batteries should be provided if this will fox the problem and if it wont the option of a recall of financial compensation should be provided.

I own a 2022 Jeep Wrangler. On 12/13/2025 while driving 50 - 60 MPH, the vehicle started shaking/vibrating violently after going over bumps, in what I've heard is the "Death Wobble". The steering wheel did not shake as much as the entire vehicle shook. Which recurred several times while driving, feeling as if the jeep would lost control and crash. The vehicle is scheduled to be taken to my mechanic who stated that it was the steering damper leading to other steering issues.

In addition, the contact noticed an abnormal burning odor inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a failure related to the battery. The contact was informed that the unknown part needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that the burning odor was still present; however, the burning odor was intermittent. The contact stated that the burning odor was like the smell of a burning firecracker. The contact later received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V741000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not available. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the contact was informed that parts were not yet available. The contact was referred to an online site, which advised the contact to report the failure to the NHTSA Hotline. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 62,000.

The contact stated that the front end and the steering wheel of the vehicle were shuddering violently. The contact stated that the failure had recurred several times while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where an unknown steering part was replaced. The vehicle was repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that upon opening the trunk of the vehicle, the contact noticed that there were some screws in the trunk. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was informed that the soft top frame screws had fallen out. The dealer replaced the screws. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
