Most issues began around the 6th month of the first year of ownership and have persisted. Current mileage is ~31,500. Safety-related defects: 1.Washer system leak/empty reservoir: washer fluid repeatedly drains/ends up empty, preventing windshield cleaning while driving and reducing visibility. Began after a dealer visit on 06/03–06/04/2025 for panoramic sunroof noise (“concern began after prior dealer visit on 06/03–06/04/2025”). 2.Rear driver-side window intermittently lowers by itself (electrical), creating distraction and a safety/security risk. 3.Side mirror intermittently fails to unfold/open, reducing rear/side visibility. 4.Water intrusion into cabin from top of front passenger door area during rain/car washes, causing staining/odor and raising concern for electrical components/safe operation. 5.Panoramic sunroof creaking noise when closed (driver distraction); prior service attempt (~2 days) did not resolve. 6.ADAS concerns: Automatic Emergency Braking and Parking Collision Warning intermittently fail to activate / provide alerts when expected, creating driver distraction and uncertainty about proper system operation. No crash or injury has occurred. Please document these issues and evaluate for a potential defect trend/recall if similar complaints exist.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,BACK OVER PREVENTION,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
I am submitting this to supplement NHTSA Complaint No. 11704996 regarding a 2024 INFINITI QX60. Current mileage approx. 31,500. No injuries. Crash/Incident (property damage only): Within the first 2 months of ownership, while backing into a parking space at a grocery store parking lot, the Parking Collision Warning did not alert and Automatic Emergency Braking did not activate. I struck a shopping cart I did not see, causing minor damage/dent to the liftgate (no injuries). Additional ADAS safety concern (near-miss / repeated events): During the first year of ownership, on at least two occasions while using Intelligent Cruise Control / driver assist (steering assist) on a highway, when the vehicle ahead braked, my vehicle did not slow down or brake as expected and continued approaching at the prior speed. I had to brake immediately and steer to avoid a collision. No crash or injuries occurred. Similar instances have occurred additional times; however, I was monitoring the system and manually braked in time when it did not slow/stop from a safe following distance. I am concerned about intermittent non-response of these driver-assist braking functions. Ongoing safety-related issues since about the 6th month of the first year: 1) Windshield washer system leak/empty reservoir (reduced visibility). Concern began after prior dealer visit on 06/03–06/04/2025 for panoramic sunroof noise. 2) Rear driver-side window intermittently lowers by itself (electrical). 3) Side mirror intermittently fails to unfold/open (visibility). 4) Water intrusion into cabin from top of front passenger door area during rain/car washes (photos available), raising concern for electrical/safe operation. 5) Panoramic sunroof creaking noise (distraction). Request NHTSA document and evaluate for potential defect trend.

SEAT BELTS
Our granddaughter was in the 3rd row seat with a seat belt. We think she put the shoulder part behind her back. After she unbuckled, she tried to exit but the seat belt ILR locked her in. The seat belt wrapped around her waist and locked her in. She could not move - or get out. We tried for 30 mins and finally cut the seat belt. If we had had an accident, we could not have gotten her out. Pictures/video's can be downloaded:Here is a link to the Video’s and Pictures. To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this letter to formally report a safety-related defect involving my leased Infiniti vehicle, serviced at Edison Infiniti in New Jersey on August 1, 2025. Despite reporting excessive tire wear and a persistent pull to the right, the dealership concluded that the alignment was within factory specifications and attributed the damage solely to a lack of tire rotation. Based on this assessment, I paid out of pocket for a wheel alignment and replacement tires. However, the condition of the removed front tires tells a different story. The tires show extreme treadwear down to the internal cords, a clear indication of prolonged misalignment or defective suspension geometry. This level of degradation is not consistent with normal wear and tear on a vehicle with fewer than 17,000 miles. It compromised steering control and posed a serious safety risk, making it difficult to maintain lane position and safe handling. I believe this issue may reflect a broader defect in alignment or suspension geometry that could affect other vehicles of the same make and model. I have attempted resolution through the dealership and Infiniti Consumer Affairs without success. I respectfully request that NHTSA investigate this issue as a potential safety defect and advise on next steps.

The contact owns a 2024 Infiniti QX60. The contact stated that while driving at 35 MPH, the vehicle experienced electronic malfunctions with unknown warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be diagnosed, and it was determined that the dipstick was not properly in place. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that on another occasion, while driving at an undisclosed speed, the system malfunction message was displayed. The vehicle was towed to the same local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the battery needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but another failure occurred. The contact stated that the smoke alarm had alerted her to an issue. While the vehicle was parked in the garage and unattended, the engine overheated. The Fire Department was called to the scene and detected smoke coming from the engine. The internal temperature of the vehicle was 168 degrees. The vehicle was towed to the same local dealer, who determined that the vehicle had overheated, and the vehicle should be picked up. The manufacturer was contacted and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 32,000.

Dealer replaced my driver side mirror assembly a few months ago to get rid of the wind whistling noise, but we noted the "new" mirror would vibrate even at a fairly low speed. So took it back to dealer during the 15k mile service. The tech said the mirror had too much play so the dealer ended up replacing the whole mirror assembly. But the newly replaced assembly was also vibrating. Dealer said that there is not much they can do and asked us to call Infinity customer service. Customer service said that that vibration is considering within engineering spec and they are not willing to do anything about it. The vibration is very annoying - the shaking mirror is just a distraction.

VISIBILITY/WIPER,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
Distorted view through the windshield. When looking at lights, double image is visible. This is especially pronounced at nights, causing poor visibility and eye strain. This issue seems to be isolated to vehicles with heads up display, because of the lamination.
Visibility🔵 Low
VISIBILITY/WIPER
On multiple 2024 Infiniti QX60 vehicles (test drives, my vehicle, loaner vehicle), the driver-side door rearview mirror glass vibrates under all driving conditions. This can blur the image and is unsafe during lane changes. Note that the passenger-side door mirror glass does NOT vibrate. It appears to be an isolator issue on only the driver-side door mirror. The problem was investigated and confirmed at an authorized Infiniti dealership (Coulter Infiniti) but they stated that all 2024 QX60 experience the same issue and it is normal. I stated it is not normal and a defect that needs to be addressed. There is currently no fix available.
Visibility🔵 Low
VISIBILITY/WIPER
In moderate to heavy rain, the windshield wiper pushes water onto the drivers side window. This water then streaks diagonally down across the window, blurring the view through the drivers side mirror. I experienced this in two cars, once on the test drive on [XXX] in Dublin, and once driving through the [XXX] in rainy conditions. Rain is when you need visibility to be good. I have not experienced this in any other car I have driven. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
