ONE NIGHT SHORTLY AFTER I PICKED UP MY 2020 GENESIS G90, I WAS DRIVING HOME ON A CITY STREET WHEN I NOTICED SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY HEADLIGHTS. AS I WAS DRIVING I WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THEM. I KEPT THINKING THAT THERE WAS AN OBSTRUCTION ON THE HEADLIGHTS THAT WAS CAUSING SOME DARKENED AREAS RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF MY FIELD OF VISION. WHILE TRYING TO DETERMINE WHAT WAS CAUSING THIS, I WAS MOMENTARILY DISTRACTED AND I BRUSHED UP AGAINST A CURB CAUSING A NASTY INCIDENCE OF 'CURB RASH' ON MY FRONT PASSENGER WHEEL. SO MY BRAND-NEW G90 WITH LESS THAN 100 MILES ON IT WAS NOW DISFIGURED. THE GOOD NEWS IS I CAN GET A BRAND-NEW WHEEL INSTALLED FOR ONLY $1,025! AFTER DROPPING EIGHTY GRAND ON THE G90, THIS WAS ACTUALLY EXTRAORDINARILY BAD NEWS. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP TO SEE IF THE HEADLIGHTS NEEDED ADJUSTMENT. I WAS INFORMED THAT "GENESIS WAS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM BUT THERE WAS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT". I CONSIDER THIS A SAFETY DEFECT SINCE THESE DARKENED AREAS OBSTRUCT A CLEAR VIEW OF THE ROAD AT NIGHT.

THE CONTINENTAL CONTRIPROCONTACT TIRES ON MY 2020 GENESIS G90 HAVE A CONSTANT VIBRATION. IT FEELS LIKE YOU ARE DRIVING OVER RUMBLE STRIPS. ON 2/12/2020 (1 WEEK AFTER PURCHASE), CALLED THE DEALER TO REPORT THE PROBLEM. THE DEALER SAID THEY TALKED TO GENESIS AND GENESIS SAID THEY HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF A TIRE PROBLEM. ON 2/18/2020, A SECOND DEALER (SMYRMA, GA) REBALANCED THE TIRES. DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. ON 2/23/2020, A THIRD GENESIS DEALER SAID THAT SOME CONTINENTAL TIRES HAD A PROBLEM AND WERE BEING REPLACED. ON 3/16/2020, CALLED THE ORIGINAL DEALER TO INFORM THEM ABOUT THE TIRE PROBLEM AGAIN. ON 3/27/2020, WAS TOLD ,BY THE ORIGINAL DEALER, TO CALL GENESIS AND REPORT THE PROBLEM (CASE # 16932384). GENESIS SAID THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING AND SHOULD CALL CONTINENTAL. ON 3/27/2020, CALLED THE ORIGINAL DEALER TO HAVE THEM CALL CONTINENTAL TIRE. ON 4/2/2020, THE ORIGINAL DEALER SAID THEY COULD NOT GET A RESPONSE FROM CONTINENTAL TIRE AND I SHOULD CALL CONTINENTAL TIRE DIRECTLY. ON 4/2/2020, CALLED CONTINENTAL TIRE AND THEY SAID I SHOULD GO TO A LOCAL TIRE DEALER. THE LOCAL TIRE DEALER, AFTER TALKING WITH CONTINENTAL TIRE, SAID THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING WITH THE TIRES, BUT I COULD BUY A NEW SET OF TIRES FOR 50% OFF.
