The 2022 Cadillac XT6 has multiple recalls affecting crucial systems such as brakes and fuel. Given the peak failure range of 0-20k miles, owners should be vigilant about these issues early in the vehicle's lifespan.

πWhy This Matters
For a luxury SUV like the Cadillac XT6, encountering multiple recalls within its first model year can be alarming. The issues primarily involve critical components such as service brakes and the fuel system, which directly affect safety and performance. A significant concern is the potential for brake failure if fluid levels aren't properly monitored due to a missing label on the reservoir cap. This could lead to serious accidents, especially considering how reliant drivers are on reliable braking systems in larger vehicles like this one.

Mileage Failure Analysis
βοΈEngineering Insight
The peak failure range of 0-20k miles indicates that problems may arise shortly after purchase, which could be frustrating for new owners expecting reliability from a recent model. Given that the average failure mileage is just 12,300 miles, buyers should remain proactive about addressing any signs of issues early on.

The thermostat sensor is defaulty. While driving all of the dashboard component lights flash on and off and the vehicle loses power while driving. Called the dealership and the technician knew exactly what it was because he said this is a known issue and when I got the vehicle to the dealership they didn't need to do a diagnostic, they knew exactly what it was. A recall should have happened to avoid this.
