Recalls, Specs & Safety Report

Expert Verdict
⚠️Elevated Concerns

The 2025 Cadillac XT4 demonstrates a concerning reliability outlook, primarily due to the single recall regarding the structure of the dashboard affecting airbag deployment. With an average failure mileage of just 280 miles, immediate attention is warranted for owners.

Key Factor:Dashboard airbag deployment issue

πŸ“‹Why This Matters

The recall concerning the dashboard's perforation is critical because it directly impacts passenger safety by potentially hindering proper airbag deployment in the event of a collision. In vehicle safety, even minor defects can escalate into severe risks; thus, having a recall that addresses such an imperative safety feature is significant. For a model like the Cadillac XT4, which aims to provide both luxury and security, this defect stands out as an unexpected drawback in an otherwise well-engineered segment.

Since we purchased the vehicle, the Heads-Up display is too low, even in its highest adjusted setting. My wife is [XXX] and can only see part of the heads-up display. I am [XXX] ' tall and have to adjust the seat so far up that my head almost touches the roof to see the heads-up display on the highest setting. Dealership reports that no one else has reported the issue and will require taking the entire dash apart to diagnose. It is a safety hazard only being able to see part of the Heads-up display while driving and being so low in the windshield.
