2025 BMW 840i

Recalls, Specs & Safety Report

Expert Verdict
βœ“Good Reliability

The 2025 BMW 840i demonstrates a commendable reliability profile with only one recall related to the electrical system. Given the peak failure range of 0-20k miles, it is crucial for owners to remain vigilant early on regarding potential starter motor issues.

Key Factor:Limited electrical recall

πŸ“‹Why This Matters

The presence of a single recall focused on the electrical system indicates that while this vehicle has a generally strong record, attention should be paid to the specific starter assembly risk. For families, especially those with children in the back seat, any defect in the electrical system can lead to operational failures that compromise safety during critical driving moments. A clean record overall enhances the confidence of parents as they transport their little ones, prioritizing their safety above all else.
