2023 AUDI Q8

Recalls, Specs & Safety Report

Expert Verdict
⚠️Elevated Concerns

The 2023 Audi Q8 presents a mixed reliability profile, marked by a solitary recall concerning the airbag system. Given the peak failure range of 0-20k miles, it is evident that early attention is warranted for this component to ensure passenger safety.

Key Factor:Airbag mounting issues

πŸ“‹Why This Matters

The airbag system's integrity is paramount in any luxury SUV, especially one like the Audi Q8, which promises high performance and passenger safety. The recall regarding improper mounting of the driver's side airbag raises serious concerns about compliance with federal safety standards, namely Side Impact Protection. For a brand synonymous with engineering excellence, any defect in this area can tarnish its image and diminish trust among consumers who expect superior safety from premium vehicles.
