2024 VOLVO V60CC

Recalls, Specs & Safety Report

Expert Verdict
βœ“Good Reliability

The 2024 Volvo V60CC presents a solid reliability profile, with only one recall focused on the back-over prevention system. Given the early failure range of 0-20k miles for certain issues, it's important for owners to be proactive about this recall early in ownership.

Key Factor:Single safety recall concern

πŸ“‹Why This Matters

Safety features like back-over prevention are crucial for any vehicle, especially in urban settings where reversing hazards are prevalent. The current recall indicates a software issue that could prevent the rearview camera image from displaying when needed, leading to potentially dangerous situations. That said, having just one recall is commendable in today’s market and reflects positively on Volvo's commitment to quality engineering and safety standards. For a luxury brand like Volvo, maintaining a clean slate or minimal recalls is paramount. It not only signifies a dedication to craftsmanship but also gives prospective buyers confidence in their purchase. It's essential for anyone considering this vehicle to be aware of this recall and ensure it has been addressed promptly.
