2024 VOLVO S90

Recalls, Specs & Safety Report

Expert Verdict
ℹ️Average Safety Profile

The 2024 Volvo S90 stands out as a reliable luxury sedan, though it does have a recall related to the rearview camera system. Owners should ensure that the software is updated to comply with safety standards, particularly given the potential for visibility issues when reversing.

Key Factor:Single software recall

πŸ“‹Why This Matters

Safety features are critical in today’s vehicles, especially those like the Volvo S90 that cater to a premium market. The recall regarding the back over prevention system highlights an essential safety compliance issue; if the rearview camera fails to display while reversing, it significantly increases the risk of accidents. A single recall in a new model year suggests that overall manufacturing quality remains high despite this isolated software problem.
