Recalls, Specs & Safety Report

Expert Verdict
โš ๏ธElevated Concerns

The 2024 Maserati GranTurismo presents a mixed reliability profile, with significant concerns stemming from its electrical systems and back-over prevention technology. The peak failure range of 0-20k miles raises alarms about these early-stage issues, making vigilance essential for owners.

Key Factor:Significant electrical system flaws

๐Ÿ“‹Why This Matters

The defects affecting the 2024 Maserati GranTurismo revolve primarily around crucial systems such as the electrical framework and back-over prevention software. The malfunction of the body control module can lead to incorrect fuel readings and potentially dangerous engine stalls while drivingโ€”serious implications that go beyond mere inconvenience. Moreover, failure to display the rearview image in reverse not only jeopardizes driver safety but also highlights compliance failures with federal standards, casting a shadow on Maserati's legacy of performance and luxury engineering. For a brand renowned for its precision and high-performance pedigree, such defects could detract significantly from customer trust and satisfaction. In an era where luxury automotive customers expect flawless execution of advanced technology and safety features, these recalls not only impact current owners but may also affect prospective buyersโ€™ perception of the Maserati nameplateโ€™s dedication to quality manufacturing.
