Recalls, Specs & Safety Report

Expert Verdict
⚠️Elevated Concerns

The 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque exhibits reliability concerns, particularly with critical safety components such as the airbag and camera systems. Given the reported malfunctions occurring within the first 20,000 miles, prospective owners should approach with caution.

Key Factor:Safety system vulnerabilities

πŸ“‹Why This Matters

When it comes to luxury SUVs like the Range Rover Evoque, safety is paramount. The existence of recalls related to the back over prevention sensing system and passenger side airbag not only raises concerns about user safety but also impacts brand perception. A luxury vehicle must not only deliver an exquisite driving experience but also ensure that its advanced safety features function flawlessly, reflecting poorly on Land Rover's engineering integrity if left unresolved.

Summary: The 2024 model year shows a troubling trend for the Range Rover Evoque, with significant defects making it less favorable in a segment where premium safety is expected. While Land Rover has historically been lauded for its off-road capabilities and comfort, this year's recalls could detract from its reputation for building reliable luxury SUVs.

It has already been 2 months, after the recall of the Range Rover Evoque 2024 for a faulty airbag. I went right away to the dealership located on 16750 SOUTH DIXIE HIGHWAY MIAMI FL 33157, and I spoke to the service manager named Henry. I asked for a loaner since it is very dangerous to drive this car with this faulty airbag, and he told me at the moment they cannot offer any loaner since it is not dangerous for the passengers if this airbag deployed at the time of an accident. He told me Range Rover will call me back when you guys get the new airbags. I called after 2 months and still no airbag solution for my car. I'm very concerned about my safety and passenger safety as well. and more since the problem is with the passenger front seat. i called as well to the RANGE ROVER headquarters and thy didn't offer any solution as well, and as a matter of fact they still have not any airbags to resolve the issue. I'm requesting a loaner or a rent vehicle while they fix the issue
