I was rear-ended at an extremely high speed by an intoxicated driver. The impact from being rear-ended pushed my vehicle into another car, damaging the front and rear of my vehicle. My car was a 2024 Tucson with 14,646 miles in perfect condition. No warning lights were on the vehicle, as I consistently take excellent care of my cars. The airbags did not deploy. My car was totaled. I had several injuries from the accident.

The panoramic sunroof in my 2024 Hyundai Tucson Limited shattered while driving on the interstate. It sounded like an explosion and frightened me while driving. I was able to maintain control of my vehicle, and fortunately, my headliner was closed, preventing glass from falling on me. The flying debris created a hazard for other drivers. I took my vehicle to the Hyundai dealership where I purchased it, and I am awaiting a response from the Service Manager for repair. The vehicle is less than a year old and has less than 9,000 miles on it.

The contact owned a 2024 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that his wife was reversing out of the work parking space, the brake pedal was depressed, and when the gear shift was shifted into drive(D), the vehicle then accelerated independently. The contact stated that the engine revved, hit a parked vehicle, bounced off that vehicle, and continued to accelerate independently, abruptly veered the steering wheel to the left to avoid hitting a tree. The contact's vehicle then hit a second parked vehicle, where it came to a stop. No warning lights were illuminated, and none of the warning alarms sounded. The driver’s and passenger’s side air bags did not deploy. A police report was not filed. There were no injuries sustained. The insurance company was notified and towed the vehicle to a collision center. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 17,000.

My a/c system has a strong mold/mildew smell. The dealership flushed the system and said a bunch of black mold came out. It has been 3 months and the issue is back. It can’t possibly be safe and healthy to be constantly breathing in mold spores. I have seen a ton of other owners complaining about the same issue. I definitely think the a/c drain design is faulty in some regard.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
On multiple occasions the vehicle has not transferred from EV to mechanical mode and has stalled out. Shutting the car and restarting it resolved the problem each time. Hyundai has not been able to find the fault after multiple trips to the dealership and no code is recorded or reported. I bought a code reader and the last time this occurred recorded a code. P1120 $07e8Pd I brought the car back into Hyundai and reported the code to- It was not saved in the car's memory. They have had the car for over 3 weeks now and repairs have not been completed.

AIR BAGS,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
My wife and I purchased a 2024 Hyundai Tucson in June. Since February 28, 2025 the SRS indicator lights have come on twice. Hyundai replaced the airbag twice. In March, the emergency brake system red lights illuminated, and the car came to an abrupt stop. Luckily, there were no Cars behind me. Seconds later, the car resumed, and the lights disappeared. Hyundai dealership took the car in and returned it in two hours noting they could not duplicate. Several days ago, the same thing happened with the emergency brake system. Driving at approximately 40 mph the car slammed on brakes and the dash illuminated again. No cars behind me. The dealership returned the car once again, noting they could not duplicate. The car has less than 8000 miles. I won’t allow my wife to drive more than 10 miles alone. It’s unsafe. The manual states the car is not to be driven with any of the sys indicators on and to do so would cause serious injury or damage to the car. I will send attachments of invoices, NHTSA complaints and Hyundai manual info about unsafe condition.

Owner [XXX] [XXX] . Driver [XXX] [XXX] ) [XXX] All of a sudden my 2024 Tucson vin: [XXX] gages indicated emergency braking for about 1 to 3 seconds and the front end went down ,(my wife and I went foward ) as though I was stopping (scared me ). It was the forward collision avoidance sys. I was so happy no one was behind me. Avoided a rear end collision. [XXX] we were Traveling west in the left lane of a three lane highway. I released the gas pedal to make a left turn in a left turn lane. The light was red. No one really behind me or to my left. Only one car to the right of me in another lane. This is dangerous! This is my wife’s car. Enough said!!!! Car was at the dealer for a couple of hours. They could not duplicate. Said it could have been my floor mat “that made my emergency lights come on the dash.” “STUPID” This occurred the day after picking up my car from the dealer. Feb. 28, Hyundai replaced the Air bag. STS light came on. Picked the car up Monday. Today [XXX] Thursday) the STS Airbag light came on again. The bag was replaced again. [XXX] the front collision sys emergency stop sys alerted again. Again, Hyundai declared they could not duplicate. This is an unsafe car. A death trap. Hyundai warns death may occur if using while driving can cause death. They also warn us using the emergency brake while driving may damage the brakes or cause a collision. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
