πWhy This Matters
The recall related to the owner's manual may seem minor at first glance; however, it highlights a significant oversight in compliance with safety standards aimed at protecting child passengers. A vehicle that fails to meet these requirements raises questions regarding overall manufacturing quality and attention to detail, attributes essential in providing peace of mind to buyers. Furthermore, the existence of multiple Technical Service Bulletins indicates potential issues that may arise shortly after purchase, particularly within the first 20,000 miles.

Summary: Based on this data, the 2024 Malibu presents higher-than-expected risks due to its early failure concerns and associated TSBs. While recalls might be common in any production year, the fact that multiple complaints have arisen within such a short mileage suggests an underlying risk that prospective buyers must heed carefully.

Water is pooling in the trunk of my car. I took it to the chevy dealership for a diagnostic and today, they told me water is leaking into the car because of a faulty seal. I just did some research online and have learned that this has been a common issue. I read that warranties have been extended to cover this defect. I would like chevy to extend my warranty to cover this defect, which they've known about for quite some time. As they know, water pooling in a car can lead to other problems.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
The car was taken to Day's Chev in Jasper Georgia on Nov 11 for forward collision system and they checked it and could not duplicate the problem and during this time after I have gotten the car back I have noticed the adaptive cruise does not slow down when you are coming up on a car . This is very dangerous.

On [XXX] on a trip to Florida a light came on my instrument cluster that the forward collision and the side blind spot mirror's were inoperable. [XXX] on the way back from Florida after the car being parked a week I was going up [XXX] and a car swerved in front of me and I almost hit it. This system had been working fine up until this time. After getting back on [XXX] OnStar notified me that my right front tire was going flat and it wasn't. On [XXX] OnStar 4g network flashed under the informant system. On [XXX] 2024 I had brake when deer ahead in the road with no warning lights or sounds going off. This car was provided by general motors as a replacement for a 2023 Malibu that was having some of these similar problems with. I contacted Day's Chev in Jasper Georgia on Oct 15 2024 about an appointment for this car and it's going to be on Nov 11 2024. I rented this 2024 Chevrolet Malibu from Enterprise Rent A Car in Union City, GA. While driving the vehicle on the highway early on [XXX] a vehicle came to a complete stop and in front of the vehicle directly in front of me. This action almost caused a multi-car pile-up. I immediately engaged the brakes. I was met with force and pressed down as hard as I could to stop the vehicle. The brakes on this vehicle failed to function properly. This caused me to crash into another vehicle. I have no information regarding maintenance and inspection of the vehicle at this time.
